March Favorites

I can’t believe we’re already more than half way through April!  This month is flying by compared to March.  March honestly felt like three months in one.  I know this post is a little bit late due to my crazy workload but nonetheless, I still wanted to share my five favorite products from the month of March:

Megababe Happy Pits Detoxifying Underarm Mask

We use hair masks, face masks and sheet masks, so why should an underarm mask be any different?!  Megababe has a range of products from natural deodorants to an thigh anti-chafe stick.  They recently launched this Detoxifying Underarm Mask and I was very intrigued.  It is made with 100% natural charcoal and helps draws out toxins, bacteria, chemicals, dirt and oil.

I’ve been using natural deodorants for about four years now so I’ve gone through that dreadful transition phase.  However, I’ve been stressed out at work lately, so I find myself sweating a little bit more on some days.  I’ve been applying this before my shower 2-3 times a week and it has definitely made a difference!  My armpits are left feeling so clean and smooth and the sweating is under control.

What I love most about this product, besides the fact that it works, is that it has an applicator so you don’t need to apply with your fingers.  If you are currently in the transition phase to a natural deodorant, this is a product I recommend to help with the sweat, toxins and odor.  If you’re armpits are already used to the natural deodorant, I still recommend this as well for a nice weekly detox since soap can only do so much!

Rituals The Ritual of Jing Body Scrub

I typically shower at night so I can wash off the day, unwind and relax my mind before going to bed.  I try to exfoliate in the shower at least 2-3 times a week and exfoliating before bed really helps me wind down.

Some body scrubs/exoliators can be a little rough but this body scrub was made so perfectly.  It is made with ultra-fine bamboo particles and a rich cream base making it the most gentle scrub I’ve ever used.  It applies so smooth to the skin and you don’t feel any of the particles.  Don’t let the texture fool you because it still thoroughly removes dead skin cells and hydrates without leaving the skin feeling greasy, like some body scrubs do.

Between the fresh, calming scent and texture, I highly recommend this scrub if you are looking into adding a scrub to your shower routine.  I can’t see myself not ever using this scrub!

TULA 24-7 Moisture Hydrating Day & Night Cream

Tula sent me a bunch of skincare goodies in February and I’ve slowly been trying them out and introducing them into my skincare routine.  The Hydrating Day & Night Cream is my absolute favorite.  I haven’t been so impressed by a mositurizer in so long.

This moisturizer is lightweight and not thick, but provides the perfect amount of moisture and sinks into skin instantly.  It isn’t heavily fragranced and has a light and fresh scent to it.  It doesn’t make my skin oily but it does leave a nice hydrated, glow.  Thankfully, a little goes a long way with this product but once I finish this jar, I will definitely repurchase!

If you are interested in trying out this moisturizer or any TULA products in general, don’t forget to use my code ‘HUMIDITY15’ for 15% off at checkout!

Good Molecules Niacinamide Brightening Toner

Niacinamide is one of my favorite skincare ingredients that has been apart of my skincare routine for a year now.  Niacinamide (or known as vitamin B3), is known to help even skin tone, shrink visible pores and strengthen your skin’s barrier.

I normally use Niacinamide serums but this toner has been on my radar for the last few months.  I’m a toner fanatic and believe toners make a difference in a skincare routine.  What I love about this toner, aside from the price (only $14!), is that it also includes Vitamin C and licorice root extract to brighten skin and improve hyperpigmentation.  This toner is vegan, alcohol free and not tested on animals, which is super important to me.

I’ve been using this toner since mid-March, so about a month now and I am obsessed.  My pores are noticeably smaller and any acne scars I had are long gone.  This toner leaves my skin feeling hydrated, plump and glowy.  This toner will continue to be a staple in my skincare routine.

Method Body Wash, Simply Nourish

Using clean and natural products is very important to me and you can see that reflected in my skincare routines.  I’ve also slowly been making the switch in my body care and cleaning products.  I already use Method’s dish soaps and hand soaps, so I decided to try out their body wash recently.

Method’s body wash is free of parabens and phthalates.  The bottle is also made with 65% recycled plastic.  This body wash is offered in different scents but I first tried out the Coconut, Rice Milk and Shea Butter body wash.  The scent reminds me of a vanilla birthday cake!  A little goes a long way with this body wash as it lathers really well.  I bought this body wash at the beginning of March.  We’re half way through April and I still have enough for at least another week, so you definitely get your money’s worth!

I love how moisturized and smooth it leaves my skin feeling after I shower.  Once this one finishes, I’m going to continue to try the other scents but this will definitely be my go-to body wash going forward.
