Guys, is it just me or is this year flying?  How is it already March?  How are we already halfway through March?  How have I not written a blog post since January?!  So many questions that need answers!

To be honest, I blinked and February was gone.  It’s already the shortest month of the year but it was such a busy month for me.  Between back to back trade shows for work, shooting content and then my trip to Miami, it was a crazy month.

I feel like this year has been moving at a very quick pace and I’ve been constantly trying to catch up.  Every day I remind myself that I need to stop slacking and start tackling these goals.  Rome wasn’t built in a day but you gotta start somewhere!

When I look back at the three things that I wanted to work on this year, I am glad to say that I have been very consistent with one so far, which has been prioritizing my health.  I’ve changed my diet quite a bit and I’m eating tofu now guys!  I’m really working on eating meat less, especially red meat and I have veggies in all three meals every day.  I’m working on snacking less and trying to tame my sweet tooth.

The second week in January, I joined ClassPass and starting taking Hot Yoga and Reformer Pilates classes.  Two weeks ago, I signed up for Blink Fitness and I’m so happy to be a member of this gym again.   I took a SoulCycle class last Sunday, for the first time in months, and my best friend Mabel, who is a SoulCycle instructor, put together a gym workout for me to help me achieve my fitness goals.

Overall, I’m proud of myself for getting serious about taking care of me again.  I’m also really proud of myself for sticking with working out.  Usually by this time, people have already given up on that resolution but I’m still going strong!  I forgot how much I loved working out and how good I feel after each workout.  I can’t wait to see the progress I make in a few months.  2015 body, I’m coming for you!

As far as reading more and creating a daily routine, those two are still a work in progress.  I haven’t read one book this year and I’m not happy about that!  I’m going to order Michelle Obama’s book on Friday and going forward, set aside time nightly to read before I go to sleep.  If I can make time for Instagram before bed, I can definitely fit in time to read a book!

I’m still working on establishing a daily routine.  It’s tough because work has been really busy and it’s only going to get more busier for me (that’s another story for another day.)  Lately, I’ve been coming home from work later than usual and I am so exhausted and drained that I’m in bed by 9 and asleep by 10.  After I’ve given all of me to my 9:30-6/7, I don’t have much left for my 6-12 but I need to change that and I will.  It’s all about finding the right balance and I’m determined to do so before the end of the year!

I feel awful for neglecting my blog and not writing a post since January.  However, I do have a handful of drafts that I am working on completing and hope to start posting again on a more consistent schedule.  Thank you always for the love, support and patience as I work on getting it together! <3
