Hello again! I’m back with the five products I’ve can’t get enough of lately. I just noticed that four out of the five products are pink! What a coincidence! Anyhoo, I always try to rotate between products to try out new ones or bring out products I haven’t used in a while. This month’s choice of products definitely reflects that. Let’s get into it!
1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Sweets Glow Kit
I have to say ABH is definitely killing it this year! From their glow kits to their new spring liquid lipsticks, their super pigmented summer lipglosses and their new foundation sticks. My love for this brand grows more and more with each new product launch! I own all five of the ABH Glow Kits and they just keep getting better and better. I think I’ll write a post about all five, with swatches and all that jazz! The Sweets Glow Kit is one of their latest additions and I have found myself constantly using this one. The colors are so pigmented and can be mixed to achieve the highlight of your choice. I mix Taffy and Butterscotch together and seriously, the glow on my cheekbones is amazing.
2. Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer
When it comes to priming my lids before eyeshadow application, I vary between using the Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer and the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. They are both amazing for priming the eyes but this Too Faced primer is just as effective as a face primer! I recently applied it onto my T-zone before applying my foundation and it kept my T-zone just as matte as my Becca primer does. I would definitely recommend anyone who has oily/combo skin like myself to try the primer on your T-zone. I was surprised at how effective it was keeping the oil at bay!
3. Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette
If you don’t own this palette already, please don’t hesitate any longer to purchase it!! The second I saw the preview of this eyeshadow palette, I knew I had to have it. I don’t own any other palette like it and already owning two other Anastasia Beverly Hills’ palettes, I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. First of all, this palette is as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside. These shadows are kept encased in a soft pink velvet palette. The color options are perfect, the pigmentation is amazing and this palette is just full of versatility. Everyday looks as well as more sophisticated looks can be created. I can’t stop using this palette! ABH seriously nailed it with this one!
4. Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Perfume
It’s rare that I try new perfumes because I already have my three go-tos. However, I did receive this sample a few months back with an online Sephora purchase I made. I decided to switch it up and tried this perfume out recently. Let me tell you, I wore this perfume on a really hot, humid summer Friday. I went to work, got out early and spent most of the afternoon running errands. I felt gross and sweaty by the time I finished and was on my way home. After all that, you could still smell this fragrance on me! The scent lasts all day – even during summer heat! The scent is beautiful too – it is floral and feminine but not overpowering. It’s just perfect and is now one of my new favorites.
5. Essie ‘Romper Room’ nail polish
I honestly own so many nail polishes that I forget what colors I own! White and the pistachio green color I mentioned in a previous post have been my go-to shades this summer. However, I wanted to switch it up and did some digging in my polish bag and came across this beauty! ‘Romper Room’ is a gorgeous pale pink from an older spring Essie collection. It’s a sweet pale pink that will look great on any skin tone.
